The Pattaya Tourist Assistance Program and the city’s police department reached out to victims of the Mother’s Day bombings in Hua Hin to show that all of Thailand wants to lend its support.
The Assistance Program’s Nopakorn Thansakul and representatives from the Pattaya Police Station called on the numerous foreign victims of the bombing Aug. 17 to offer any support they needed.
Nopakorn said the majority of victims reported that they were fine and were moving on after the incident. But the foundation also added that embassies and the Thai government were ready to help if needed.
A representative from the Hua Hin community where the bombings took place expressed gratitude that police and volunteers from other areas of Thailand would lend their support to victims in Prachuap Khiri Khan. It showed that all Thais care about what happens in the country anywhere a problem occurs.
