The Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort brought lunch to autistic people and cleaned school restrooms as part of the hotel’s community service program.
Human resources Director Daranart Nuchaikaew led the team of volunteers from the resort’s staff in the “Take Me To School” program, which made stops at Ban Khru Boonchu Home for Special Needs Children and Ban Khao Baisri School, both in Sattahip.
The hotel made a special donation to the home for autistic children and adults and staffers made lunch for the residents, who range in age from 3 to 47, along with the 35 caregivers.
At Khao Baisri School, the group was welcomed by Principal Itthiphol Hitachart, who showed the group to the swimming pool and restrooms, which were badly in need to servicing.
The activities were only the latest by the Naklua resort, which had made it a mission to provide support for children and the less-fortunate.
