One of Bangkok’s premier monthly networking events took place at the Anantara Riverside Resort on Friday the 29th of June.
In a relatively short space of time ‘Movers & Shakers’ has become one of the most talked about networking functions, one which utilizes only the very best venues across the capital and that attracts a varied cross-section from the business community in Bangkok and beyond.

The Tulip Group were once again the sponsor for Friday’s event which saw roughly 150 guests fill the bar at Trader Vic’s at the Anantara.
The resort management was on hand with their team filling up glasses, ensuring that the guests could focus on the networking side on things whilst chefs on the terrace cooked an assortment on food from the grill including freshly cooked suckling pig.
The house band played discretely and was only interrupted for a few moments for a brief announcement by the MC. The Anantara also donated two vouchers which were given to lucky winners on the night, one winning a cruise on the resort’s boat and the other Sunday lunch at Trader Vic’s.
Movers & Shakers also donates to various charities and is looking at specific projects to assist children in Thailand; this plays a small part in the success of M&S and its overall format, that in addition to the numerous medias who come to support the event and the Movers & Shakers Facebook and website.
