BANGKOK, 18 July 2012 – The Cabinet has given a nod to the draft Memorandum of Understanding that will promote closer collaboration between Thailand and Mozambique.
Deputy government spokesperson Pakdihan Himathongkam said that the weekly Cabinet meeting, on Tuesday, resolved to approve the draft MOU on the cooperation in the areas of mineral resources between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Mozambique.
He stated that the planned collaboration includes such elements as the exploration of mineral resources, the promotion of investment and trade, the creation of added value to mineral resources and the exchange of experiences, knowledge, researches and technologies in this field.
The deputy government spokesperson said that the Commerce Ministry will lead a delegation and trade mission to the Republic of Mozambique to officially sign the MOU and discuss trade relations with other African nations during July 22nd and 29th.
