Congratulations to our hardworking IGCSE students and staff who are celebrating outstanding results. With IGCSE grade outcomes declining in the UK this year, students at Regents International School, Pattaya have defied the trend with 90% achieving A*- C grades. In most statistic brackets, grades have shown an upturn on previous years with 32% achieving A*-A grades, and 87% achieving 5 A*-C grades including English and Mathematics.

While the entire cohort is to be congratulated on these results, individual performances to impress included Anais Verny and Fenella Alfri who both secured 9 A* – A grades.

These excellent results follow hot on the heels of Regents’ IB results which again showed an upturn on previous years. Principal Iain Blaikie comments: “These results reflect our dynamic learning environment in which our teachers work in partnership with our students. While we rightly celebrate the extraordinary results of our highest achieving students, we also celebrate the results of those students who, through sheer hard work and diligence, have exceeded their own expectations. As an international school, of course, many of our students have attended a number of schools already in their young lives, and this ‘value added’ measure is the true measure of an outstanding school.”
