Amari marks 44 years in Pattaya

The Amari Pattaya celebrated 44 years in Pattaya with a merit-making ceremony.

Robert Rijnders, senior vice president of operations and general manager for Onyx Hospitality Group’s eastern region, invited nine monks from Wat Nong Yai for the Sept. 9 anniversary.

At the Brahman shrine and spirit house, the monks chanted stanzas before accepting a meal from hotel staff.

The Amari is located on at the northern end of Pattaya Beach and offers 297 rooms and suites. All rooms are decorated in a red tone with dark floors polished stone. They also feature large windows from floor to ceiling and private balconies.

Executive Club or higher accommodations also include Horizon Club privileges, including access to the gym, beach spa and salon, lagoon swimming and pool bar.

The resort also includes a decorative garden with areas for parties and lounging.
