Monks and novices Santitharawat Temple in Chonburi led the Sept. 11 training session at the Redemptorist Vocational School for Persons with Disabilities. They used methods of teaching children to teach dharma to 60 less-fortunate kids who listened to chanting and learned how to mediate.

Father Ray spokeswoman Temsiri Tauythong said the workshop was organized to cultivate dharma in children’s hearts by having children pass on knowledge to other kids.

Monk Phra Pradya called it a useful activity for children and novices. It was the first time the novices were allowed to practice the 10 precepts to pass on knowledge.
