Rujpan Homsud, the owner of K.A.G. Win Co., was charged with hosting a public event without proper licenses, promoting alcohol and using the Cliff Pool Club to promote gambling.

The case also was sent to the Chonburi Province governor’s office, which may rule that the Pratamnak Hill swimming club be closed.

The Sept. 17 raid came after public claims that the private residence was operating as an entertainment venue and allowing foreigners to use drugs.

When police arrived, they found about 100 people enjoying the party, including a concert from artist Boom Cash, and tested all for drugs. Three people failed the test for methamphetamine use and were taken to Pattaya Police Station.

Rujpan denied the gambling charges, saying the tickets found on the partygoers were given to them for a lucky draw for gift vouchers.
