A 35-year-old Russian skydiver was killed near Nong Kho reservoir in Laem Chabang Oct. 10.
Identified only as Mr. Zhakara, the accident happened at 9.30am in the Ban Nong Kho sky diving drop zone.
According to Sriracha police, the Russian man jumped from hang-glider for a solo sky dive.
However, as he was almost near the ground, wind shear caused his chute cells to collapse forcing him to plunge about 40 meters onto the ground.
His body was sent to Sriracha hospital for autopsy.
