A high-rise suicide victim turned out to be wet laundry in Pattaya.
Rescue squads were called to the Winner Condominium on Thappraya Soi 12 Oct. 11 after someone called authorities saying they saw someone hanging from a balcony in South Pattaya.
Paramedics entered the vacant apartment with a spare key, only to find the “victim” was a pair of shorts on a clothes hanger.
The vacant occupant was said to be a Russian. Police advised him and others not to hang laundry where it could confuse passersby.
