Jarin Chuchaowarit, 50, was one of several people captured on video aiding the unidentified rider of a full-size motorcycle Oct. 29. The scene of the biker trying to drive against the current, falling and being swept away by the current quickly went viral on Facebook.

Jarin was working at the Beer and Coffee Guesthouse restaurant around 6:30 p.m. when she saw the driver try to turn his big bike onto Soi Khao Noi. He sped up to beat the current, but lost control of the bike and fell.

Staffers pulled him to safety, but the bike suffered serious water damage.
