The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation sent Pattaya volunteers to attend to the masses of mourners assembled outside Bangkok’s Grand Palace.

Rescue division director Prasit Thongtithcharoe met with medics planning to visit Sanam Luang Oct. 23 where nearly a million people have come since Oct. 13 to mourn HM the late King.

With so many people crammed into tight quarters under a blazing sun, the need for medics has mushroomed. Sawang Boriboon’s executives decided to volunteer their services to pay respect to the late monarch.

Two teams of five were deployed Oct. 27 and will work two days before being relieved by new volunteers. The service will continue indefinitely.
