Police shot dead the man suspected of killing a Chiang Mai police officer last week at his mountain hideaway in Pha Pae, Mae Taeng District on December 2, 2016.
Police traced Prasert Laolee, suspected of killing a 23 year old Police Lance Corporal during a drug sting to the mountainous region near Baan Buak Meed in Pha Pae, Mae Taeng and traveled to the remote area to arrest the suspect. The suspect opened fire on the police; they returned fire killing the suspect at the scene.
Prasert Laolee was a suspect in the shooting of Police Lance Corporal Sirayuth Noiarun during a drug buy at Mae Taeng on November 29, 2016. He escaped with Suthasinee Sae Nor from Prachinburi to the mountains. Police found Mrs Suthasinee at the same location and arrested her to face charges.
