Pattaya’s tourism industry was dealt another blow – literally – when a tour guide punched a Chinese tourists in the face.
Prem Supakorn, 35, was arrested at Bali Hai Pier Dec. 8 after allegedly assaulting Kela Na, 25. Too intoxicated to speak coherently to police, he mumbled only that the woman attacked him first before police tossed him in a cell to sober up.
Witness Chan Charoenwan, 36, told police that somebody had come up to tell him that a tour guide was seen abusing a female Chinese tourist.
But he was too late to stop the attack, as the man had already given her a bloody nose.
