Pattaya’s Diana Group of hotels was honored for the accessible features of its resorts at the Thailand Friendly Design Expo.
Tourism and Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul presented the Outstanding Civilized Design in ASEAN award to Diana Group Managing Director Sopin Thappajug Dec. 3 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi.
Hotels and resorts were chosen for recognition based on architecture to suit all genders, ages, families and holidaymakers in Southeast Asia, as well as their security, management and modern features.
Overall, the show was an exhibition of products, technology, innovation and design of facilities for the elderly, disabled and those recovering from hospitalization.
