The first E-Sarn Funky party will be held at the Hard Rock Café Pattaya on Friday evening, August 31. The night will include live shows of contemporary E-Sarn dance, Ram Wong Salawan, Pong-Lang Band, Mor Lam Sing with the Rock Glang Thung Band and Suphannika Band, winner of 2008 Thailand Pong Lang Band competition plus legendary DJ Maft Sai.
Mix this in with E-Sarn food, temple-fair games and some good vibes all round and a great night of entertainment is guaranteed.
The party starts at 6 p.m. and tickets cost THB 150 per person, which includes one beer. Part of the proceeds will be donated to The Pattanarak Foundation to support E-Sarn agriculture, in an area which has a challenging harsh climate and needs support in development.
