The Rose Cup Petanque Club donated cash and necessities to help flood victims in Thailand’s South.
President Somya Boonpan organized the fundraising drive for the Thai-French sports club. He said most of the club’s members are foreigners, showing their respect and kindness to stricken Thai people.
Natawut Nilwiset, secretary of the Chonburi Southerner Association, accepted the donations, which totaled about 5,000 baht in cash, plus relief supplies.
He thanked the club for its support.
