A Bangkok couple was arrested for allegedly storing 10 million baht in counterfeit goods destined for sale in a Pattaya condominium.

Pakorn Chinrungsimun, 39, and Patsa Chinrungsimun, 23, were arrested at a post office in Laem Chabang where they allegedly were sending the pirated name-brand goods overseas.

Tourist and Special Branch police took the couple to their condo in North Pattaya where 131 fake Longchamp, MCM, Chanel, Gucci, LV, Prada and Hermes bags and apparel were stored.

The two were charged for trading in pirated goods and face up to four years in jail and fines of up to 400,000 baht.
