PSC Blue Moose Golf

Monday, Sept. 3, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford

Four groups teed ‘em up at Pattaya Country Club for Monday Golf with the Blue Moose.  Included in the players today was Paul Kraft who has not played in three months and because of his lay off he did not want to enter the tournament.  As it goes Paul scored 46 points and would have come in first place.

Scores were good as 9 of the 14 golfers had at least 34 points.  When the scores were totaled up, Herbie Ishinaga came in third with 37 points after losing out to Joe St. Laurent on count back over the last 6 holes.  Joe lost out to his wife Oiy who had 39 points.  Oiy learned a quick lesson on how winning means that you pay for drinks.

Wednesday, Sept. 5, Burapha – Stableford

The Blue Moose hackers travelled to Burapha this Wednesday, one of the nicer courses on the rotating schedule.  Weather was good with a slight wind to keep the temperature down.  The father and son duo of Richard and Anthony joined the Moose golfers once again.

The previous week’s trophy winner, Ciano Glavina, dropped back to 22 points today to once again call into question his stellar performance on trophy day.  Larry Emerson meanwhile continued his consistent golf with 35 points to take first place.  Paul Kinmond made his first podium visit with 34 points to take second.

Near Pin prize went to Bruce who won 30 % off his bill at the Blue Moose.  The golfers returned to the Blue Moose for presentations and the usual provisions provided by the capable staff.
