Pattaya will celebrate the cultural diversity of the city in a beachfront festival March 31-April 2.
The Pattaya Cultural Festival is being organized by the Pattaya City Cultural Council and city Education Department to promote the heritage of the people of Pattaya through music, stage performances and exhibits.
“The diversity of Pattaya is vast. The cultural and artistic charm of the country is one that Pattaya has always pushed to be promoted,” said former City Councilman Rattanachai Sutidechanai, who now works as a culture and tourism advisor to the city. “The festival is to emphasize the beauty and value of Thailand to tourists, especially foreigners.”
Students from all of Pattaya’s public school swill participate in putting on performances while booths will feature locally made products and art exhibits.
The Pattaya Beach event is free to the public.
