Panutat Apichanachong, or Kru Ad said that he and other artists had created songs and uploaded onto Youtube for broadcasting on his own channel which could earn income. Yesterday, he uploaded his two songs on YouTube channel, which were “Anna Thapae Part 2” and Songkarn Der Salor”. Subsequently, the You Tube channel named “Hao Kon Muang Nua” uploaded these two songs on their channel without asking permission, this is considered copyright infringement. Then, he tried to contact the channel owner but there was no response. He talked with other Lanna artists and found that other artists had the same problems for several years.

He told reporters that this wasn’t right because it is taking credit for their work. It is required a lot of time and energy to create their works. The artists agreed to file the report with the police and encouraged other artists to file complaints with the police as well. The Inquiry officer filed the report as evidence and will send to the investigative unit to find the culprits for further prosecution.
