Rear Adm. Winai Wiratchagon, deputy chief of naval education, presided over the April 4 graduation for the 3,860 cadets.

Rear Adm. Winai said the two-month training course instilled in the cadets academic knowledge, ethics and morality to make them strong, patient, disciplined and selfless.
The new recruits swore an oath to protect, respect, and up hold the 3 main institutes of the country with their life.

The graduates pledged, “To be a good citizen of the nation, in the morality of religion. To embrace and preserve the majesty of the monarch. To respect the sanctity of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, and not become involved with any illegal drugs. They will be ready to cooperate with the government, to prevent and suppress the illegal use of drugs and cleanse them from this land up to their last breath.”
