Pattaya’s police chief got hit with water – gently – by fellow officers as the Soi 9 station observed Songkran.
Pol. Col. Apichai Kroppech, his wife and top lieutenants hosted the April 17 Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony for the Thai New Year for lower-ranking officers and staff.
The day also was Apichai’s birthday, so along with water poured on his hand, gifts poured in, including a flower basket from Pattaya Press Association President Samart Thongrod.
