It seems that there were many people suffering from hangovers from the weekend as we had lots of last minute cancellations, so only one flight today with twenty players.

A very mediocre 34 points scored by Brian Maddox managed to take the first place, holding off Steve Durey, also 34 points, on a back nine 19-16 count-back.

Wednesday winners Mike Winterburn and Harvey Samuels. Wednesday winners Mike Winterburn and Harvey Samuels.

Wednesday, Feb. 16, Treasure Hills – Stableford

A lot of confusion and rearranging at the start today with forty golfers, hardly any caddies, and no buggies!  But eventually we got it sorted out and everybody got off.

One golfer today, Shay Mitchell, had a very interesting round, having one caddy for two holes a different one for the next ten holes and yet another one for the last six holes.  He also had two different buggies for his round.  When asked how many tips did he have to give out, all he gave in reply was a broad smile and a shrug of the shoulders.

As we all know this can be a very tough track to score on so we were very surprised with the scores returned, even though we played off the yellow tees.

Harvey Samuels was the star of the day with a magnificent 40 points in the B Flight, closely followed by Mike Winterburn and Pier Cere in the A Flight with 38 points each, Pier losing out on a 12-11 front six count-back.

Near pins went to Ken Priddy, Mike McPhee, On Sodok and Bryan Neal.
