Wirat Jirasripaitoon, sanitation director, said Pattaya Beach had been packed over the long holiday weekend and the trash and natural debris washed ashore had generated complaints.

Workers planned to hit Wong Amat Beach next and make regular patrols to ensure rocks and other natural hazards are removed.
