Privy Councilor Surayud Chulanont handed out diplomas as Boromarajonani College of Nursing’s Chonburi campus congratulated its graduating class of 2017.

Government-owned Boromarajonani is part of the Praboromarajchanok Institute for Health Workforce Development under the Health Ministry. It was founded 1971 to prepare graduates for beginning practice and leadership in nursing “with strong moral character and caring perspectives”.

Dr. Kamolrat Turner, director of the Chonburi campus, said Boromarajonani is working to produce graduates in accordance with the country’s Thailand 4.0 policy to serve both private and government hospitals and medical facilities.

Of the 3,431 graduates, 75 already are employed in local hospitals and smaller facilities, he said.

In addition to Bachelor of Nursing Science diplomas, Surayud presented awards to the top scholars in various disciplines. (CPRD)
