The Soi Korphai Community is offering 1.6 million baht in loans to neighborhood residents to improve their job prospects.
Village fund chief Nikhom Sangkaew opened registration for the 2017 loan program May 25. To qualify, applicants must show proof of home registrations within the boundaries of the South Pattaya community.
Applicants also must be a member of the loan cooperative for six months before they can take out funds as well as provide 20,000 baht in collateral.
The loans are intended to help residents pay for occupational training, develop their businesses or cover home-expense emergencies.
