A Nongprue Grade 6 girl is off to the United States to compete in a global art competition after winning the Lions Club’s “Painting for Peace” contest Thursday.
Sara Yimwilai took the top prize in the Lions contest, which encouraged kids to learn proper technique and express their feelings in paint. She had already won regional and national rounds and will now participate in the finals in the U.S.
