About 20 stay dogs were rounded up on Soi Arunothai following complaints about people being bitten.
Jirawat Plukjai, chairman of Chumsai Community, joined Pattaya Complaint Center officers for a tour of the central Pattaya neighborhood where nearly two dozen soi dogs were left to roam a piece of vacant land.
After speaking with the landowner, the complaint center dispatched dog catchers to round up the curs and took them to nearby dog shelters and temples.
Authorities asked for the neighborhood’s cooperation in controlling the stray population. They also asked that people not park on the street near the 9 Karat Condominium, as it has been blocking traffic.
