“Pete in Jomtien’s” letter so well described the sad demise of Dongtan “walking” beach. However, given the recent examples of road and path construction in the area, and a few summer storms, maybe we will not have too long to wait before the beach returns to its natural state … assuming rising sea levels don’t achieve that first!
