PSC golf from Café Kronborg
Monday, Oct. 29, Pattana B & C – Stableford
We had not visited Pattana for some time and although the check-in was still slow we managed to get off B1 tee 25 minutes early under sunny, blue skies. The course was in very good condition but a bit soft underfoot.
Back in the opulent clubhouse after a round of 4 hours and 10 minutes, we welcomed Jim Larson from Lake Tahoe, Henry Wong and Brian Gabe.
There were 2 flights today with the cut at handicap 20. Ted Morris took the A flight win with 38 points, Stu Rifkin was second on 37points, Brian Gabe third with 34, and Henry Wong took fourth on a count back from Leif Kirkgaard, both with 31 points.
Mick O’Connor took the B Flight with 36 points, Dave Richardson was second on 33 points and Jan Lovgreen third on a count back over Elias Magnusson, both on 29

Thursday, Nov. 1, Mountain Shadow – Stableford
Mountain shadow was the venue today where we had not played since mid June. We got off the first tee 25 minutes early under sunny skies and hot conditions. The course on the day was in very good condition with very fast greens. The clubhouse is being refurbished and even the men’s showers are being overhauled.
Welcomes went out to Kurt Sandgaard from Denmark and Joe Vanderwegon from Belgium.
Two flights today with the cutoff at handicap 21. The Danes took the A Flight with Leif Kirkgaard winning with 33 points, Jan Lovgreen second on 32 and Niels Hansen third with 29.
Joe Vanderwegon won the B Flight with 35 points, Mick O’Connor was second on 32 points and Graham Buckingham took third with 31.
