A 60-year-old man was killed when his motorbike was broadsided by another speeding motorcyclist in Sattahip.
Bus driver Prasit Somwasri was pronounced dead at the scene of the Moo 6 village accident Aug. 6. Teerawat Chat-in, the 18-year-old driver of the Honda Wave that slammed into him, was taken to Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center for treatment.
Prasit’s grandson, Tawan Noppuang, 18, said his relative was returning home from running errands and was turning into his driveway when Teerawat came flying down the road and crashed into him.
Neither driver was wearing a helmet.
