North Pattaya residents want a patch of vacant land that has been turned into an ad hoc trash dump cleaned up.
Plastic bags, bottles, scrap, wires and construction waste litter a 30-meter stretch of Second Road adjacent to the Grand Sole Hotel Aug. 18.
The land, once a clear lot, has been overgrown with weeds and bushes, which apparently proved an inviting target for people to dump rubbish illegally.
Locals want the land cleaned up as it damages the image of Pattaya.
