An ex-convict who recently served time for selling drugs is back behind bars on the same charges in Sattahip.
Yadpirun Chuwong, 28, was arrested in a sting operation Sept. 22 by district officials in Moo 1 village. He was apprehended with 3.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and six ya ba tablets.
Also arrested were two alleged accomplices: Yadpirun’s girlfriend, 25-year-old Mala Samit and Kanda Kaeudorn, 26.
Known in the neighborhood as “Boy Jomtien”, Yadpirun is a convicted small-time dealer who came to the attention of police only after a complaint from the Moo 1 village chief.
One of Yadpirun’s alleged customers was persuaded to assist police in setting him up with a bogus drug buy.
