A 5-day ceremony in an ornate throne hall began the transfer of the remains of Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej to his spectacular golden crematorium in the royal quarter of Bangkok, and ended when His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on Sunday morning, Oct. 29, performed religious rites over the royal relics of His Majesty the late King Rama IX before transferring them to the Heavenly Abode in Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall.
