1st Chris Thompson 42pts

2nd Howard Marson 38pts

3rd Bob Lindborg 34pts

We had an unusual format this week playing the B and D nines at Burapha and 13 Outbackers set out on a hot and humid day.  Reports coming back indicated that the rough is still a challenge but fairways and greens were in good condition.

Chris Thompson stood out from the rest today and won with a fantastic round of 42 points.  Howard Marson placed second 4 points behind Chris and Bob Lindborg was third on 34.

Peter Nixon and John Langley recorded the only ‘2’s of the day.

Monday, Nov. 6, Plantation – Stableford

10 golfers set to at Plantation, a field consisting of Brits, South Africans, Australians and a touring party from Estonia.  2 places were paid and Douglas Campbell took second place with a handicap equaling 36 points.  Winning the day with a magnificent knock of 42 points was Vic Hester.

Three ‘2’s were recorded, by Jamie Donaldson, Vic Hester and Erko.

Friday, Nov. 10, Treasure Hill – Stableford

Three groups endured the 331 and battled their way to Treasure Hill.  The course was in very good condition and with an all in rate of 1250 baht (including cart) it was well worth the drive.

John Hoddy took top spot today after winning a count-back over Steve Mann in second, both with 34 points.  Steve Plant was third with 32 points.

There were no ‘2’s today.
