Chonburi police arrested 37 people who helped a used motorbike dealer celebrate his birthday with a drug party in Nong Plalai.
Seventeen males and 11 females, including nine under age 18, were taken into custody and charged with illegal drug use. Police said all confessed.
Police recovered copious amounts of drugs from the pool villa in Moo 2 village which Thanakorn Duenkrajang, 25, rented for 8,500 baht to celebrate his birthday. The homeowner said Thanakorn had said only 15 people would be attending.
Thanakorn, who said he purchases second-hand bikes and cars and sells them for a living on Facebook, denied ownership of the drugs, saying they belonged to a friend.
