Banglamung District Chief Naris Niramaiwong opened the second year of the “Smile Sharing” program, aimed at providing scholarships and study aids to poor Banglamung students.
Wichien Sangkaew, a reporter with Pattaya television Channel 7, hosted the Nov. 15 opening with Banglamung School Principal Apinphon Sinmaneetanon and students.
Apinphon thanked everyone for being aware of the importance of students and schools by giving scholarship and study equipment.
The day also saw creative activities and fun for children to raise their morale so they continue in school despite their families facing financial hardships.
