Monday, Dec. 4, Burapha – Stableford
We had 15 players make the trip to Burapha on Monday to play the A and B courses. Top man of the day was ‘Sugar’ Ray Handford with a sterling 41 points. He was followed up the podium steps by three players locked on 37 points and the count-back dictated that Bob St Aubin, Sven Lund and Bob Lindborg ascended in that order.
The only 2 was claimed by Bob St Aubin.
Friday, Dec. 8, Green Valley – Medal
Medal day at Green Valley attracted a field of 39 players and nine places were up for grabs on the podium.
This month’s winner and going forward to next September’s Grand Final was Reijo Heiskanen with a fine net 67. Joining Reijo on the podium in ascending order were Bruce Mcadam, Vic Hester, Wayne Cotterill, Pasi Puranen, David Collier, Bob St Aubin, Jon Kittelsen and Stephen Mann.
The ‘2’s were shared by Vic Hester, Peter Nixon, Lester Featherstonehugh, Eng Cotterill and Steve Watkins.
