Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Dec. 19, Treasure Hill – Stableford
We went to Treasure Hill on Tuesday and found the course in good condition with the greens good and fast. It was cold in the morning and the breeze kept it that way all day. This course is always difficult with all the trees on the fairways, but we had a enjoyable game.
Willem Lasonder was in good shape today and won with 37 stableford points. Second was Stan Rees with 33 and third came Paddy Devereux with 30, beating Jonathan Pratt on count-back.
The near pins all went to Paddy.
Thursday, Dec, 21, King’s Naga – Stableford
King’s Naga was our venue for Thursday and the course was in a reasonable condition with difficult greens. The bunkers are still not good however, with sand like concrete.
We had a close finish at the end and Paddy Devereux emerged the winner with 37 points, one ahead of Stan Rees on 36 while Paul Davies placed third with 35.
The near pin prize went to George Gamble.
