25 golfers were playing Pattavia Golf Course today, one of The Swan’s favorite venues. The trip generally takes an hour to an hour and a bit, but believe me it’s well worth the journey to play on this course.
The weather was as good as it gets, a little cloud cover and a slight breeze to make life a little bit more comfortable. There was a threat of rain but we got through the day dry with not a drop of falling.
The course was in good nick as usual with the greens running true but quite fast and tricky.
Division 1 saw Peter Bye greet the judges with a net seventy for first place, three ahead of second placed Mashi Kaneta while newcomer Akira Sekiya took out the third position on the podium.
Richard Braimbridge was first past the post in the second tier with a net 69, which was also enough to make him the winner of the December Monthly Mug. Second went to Pierre Cere, with Glenn Smith filling third spot.
