Eleven golfers headed out to Mountain Shadow, a favorite of The Growling Swan crew, and we had a later than normal tee time. Playing from the blue tees it seemed to suit some of our players, but then again as scores showed it may have been a little too long.
The course was in good condition (as always); fairways were mowed and the first cut wasn’t too bad either. The greens were slow as per the normal. The weather conditions were quite pleasant and made a nice change from the heat that we sometimes suffer from.
Patrick Poussier made it his day, returning with 33 points and the best score of the day to take top place. Second past the post was Colin Stielow and with the size of the field being so small we were only to recognize first and second spots.
