The Navy course was in good nick today with the greens being fast but it appears that the bunkers are not getting any attention. It was also noticed that on the day the caddies did not rake them, which does or can make life difficult for others.
There was a threat of rain but that passed as quick as it arrived. Weather was good for the day and made it quite pleasant, a gentle breeze kept it under control.
We saw Colm Mullen (still brushing the snow from himself) take charge of the day with 33 points. In second place was Dave Maw, edging Pierre Cere via the count-back system.

A group of 23 golfers ventured out to King Naga and found the course to be in good nick with the greens a little on the slow side. The cost was also very attractive – green fee, caddy fee and cart at Bt.1350.
We had A & B divisions competing today and in the premier flight (0 to 22) it was Pierre Cere who was king for a day on 41 points. In second was Buffalo Bill Steinmann with an even-par round, with Dave Maw taking third after beating Jayson Schembri via the count-back system.
Division B went to Patch Lawrie with a very good 39 points while second went to an in form Colm Mullen who knocked Tony Cook out of second again via acount-back.
