A Satun man was arrested for breaking into hotel rooms in Pattaya.
Seksan Thraisika, 60, was apprehended by Pattaya and Tourist Division police Feb. 18 with 34,000 baht in Thai and foreign currency.
Pattaya police said Seksan, a mechanic by trade, is believed responsible for several break-ins, including a hotel in Najomtien Sub-district. His modus operandi is to check into a hotel as a guest, then burglarize other rooms.
Police said he was arrested in 2013 for a similar crime.
