Nongprue is spending 3 million baht to install new drainage pipes on Mabtato Road between Ban Chang and Lamrang.
The 364-meter stretch of road also will be widened to 10.5 meters and made 15 centimeters thick.
Supatra Ruamkha Co. began work on the 2.7-million-baht project on March 13 with completion scheduled for July 11.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area entirely but observe detour routes if they must drive there.
