PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, March 8, Rayong C.C. – Stableford
Tuesday we ventured out along the route 36, turning off to visit Rayong C.C. The course was in good order, representing good value with PSC vouchers, too bad the weather could not do the right thing for us. After about an hour’s play, the heavens opened up and everyone had to take cover as the greens became unplayable, with some lightning also around. After 40 minutes or so, it was back to normal and away we all went again.
Best to handle the conditions over the 18 holes was Jeff Wylie (7) with 35 points, ahead of Tony Chetland (18) who got second with 32 after edging Dave Edwards on count-back 18 to 15.
Near pins were picked up by Ron, Dave and Jeff, with one going to Banglamung Boys Home after no-one knocked it on the green.
Thursday, March 10, Plutaluang – Stableford
Thursday was a trip to Plutaluang, where despite threatening skies we made it around dry. Again it was Jeff Wylie (7) on top with 35 points, edging out Bob Edwards (13) on count-back 19 to 14. Third place prize money went to Dave Edwards (14) with a paltry 25 points, but still shows there were some pretty poor scores floating around out there.
Near pins were secured by visitors Elizabeth Middleton (1), husband David (2), with Graham Hiskett grabbing the tough South 7.
Note: Mulligans Lakeside plays golf usually on Tuesdays & Thursdays, although we do sometimes change to suit a Public Holiday. Hope to see you there. Cheers & good golfing!
