Police provide free trips in Bkk on April 15-17

BANGKOK, 15th April 2018  – The Royal Thai Police force is offering free trips to holidaymakers returning home between April 15th and 17th.

Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police said today that the Metropolitan Police Bureau will be offering free van services from Mo Chit Bus Terminal to Mo Chit BTS Station and Victory Monument in the city, from 4am to 9am and from 4pm to 8pm.

He noted that there are not enough taxis for travelers returning to Bangkok from other cities during those times.
In addition, traffic police and volunteers will be helping passengers with their bags and offering other forms of assistance upon request.

In the meantime, the Department of Land Transport has prepared 140 taxis at Mo Chit Bus Terminal to facilitate holidaymakers’ return. These taxis can be accessed at the back and in front of the terminal building.
