PSC Golf from The Outback Golf Bar
The Outback Bar’s 2018 Songkran tournament was held on 16, 17, and 19 April at Burapha, Pattana and Khao Keow golf courses. In total, 68 players joined us although some did not play all three days.
After a rain shortened second day, the tournament was open for the taking with several players in the running. After the last day’s play, 7 players finished within 2 shots of each other, so it was a very tight result.
In the overall standings, third place was won by Hisahiko Makino with 110 points, beating several other players on count back. In second place, losing on a count back based on the better overall score was Myles Knowlson who played very good golf on day 2 and 3 to finish on 111 points. In the end, the fabulous round of one over gross 73, which was posted on day 1, helped Dave Stockman to stay in the lead and win our Songkran tournament of 2018. Dave was also the low gross champion.
Plenty of food, a good time after and fantastic atmosphere at the prize presentation made this a memorable tournament and thanks again to everyone that participated and help make the tournament a success.
