PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, May 22, Mt. Shadow – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Mountain Shadow with a small group. Despite of the rain the course was in quite good condition, but not very much roll on the fairways. The greens were good but the bunkers were sub-par, although with all the rain is it difficult to keep them in good condition.
Jonathan Pratt played solidly today and won with 36 stableford points while in second was Paddy Devereux with 32.
The near pins went to Dave Smith and Paddy Devereux.
Thursday, May 24, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Treasure Hill was our venue on Thursday and to avoid the road works we drove down the 7 until Laem Chabang junction and from there to the 331. It was a very good alternative and a fast way to go.
We started with a clouded sky and a nice breeze but by midday the sun came and it became very hot. The course was in good condition and we had an enjoyable game.
Stan Rees played consistent today and won with 38 points and four behind in second was Neil Harvey with 34.
The near pin awards were claimed by Jonathan Pratt and Willem Lasonder.
