Nong Plalai workers cleaned the Kratinglai Canal to mitigate flooding during rainy season.
A 10-man crew used heavy machinery to clear tree branches, rubbish and mud from the waterway following complaints from neighboring residents that storm runoff was not draining as quickly as in the past.
Workers began in Moo 7 village and planned to continue down the canal over following days.
